ICTL CLUB 2011 PLANNING

1. Build A Website / Portal For School. A simple portal with school

information and useful data to download is the best. Host on Paid
Hosting sever and get an “.EDU” domain name. I recommend our school
to use 101 Domain. All the staffs, teachers and ICTL Club members get
an email address with @smkusj8.edu.my. Students who are not ICTL
members can have one email address for RM 15, Monthly charges RM 3.

2. Upgrade Office Internet Connection Speed. On my observant in 2010,

network congestion had cause us cannot get our work done for the
school. It can be shared by the library and the office. We can take the
Block Buster deals for RM 140 per month with 4 mbps connection with
free voice call. With the free voice call, we can set up a payphone for
everyone to use, with the charge of standard rate which is :

Local Call (all 03 area code): RM0.05 first minute, 4sen/per minute for
the second minute thereof.
National Calls: RM 0.12 per/min flat rate.
Mobile Calls: R, 0.12 per/min

Students who which to use the school interne connection have to pay RM 2
per entry. Those who use P2P downloads which is more than 50MB will be
charge for RM 3.

With the two above plans, the school can earns money to pay the website
hosting.

3. Set Up SMS alert for school announcements. Students will be charge

RM2 per month. Don’t do announcements on assembly anymore.

4. Make a dota clan with school name.
