Intriguingly Posh Neckwarmer – Liz Benson

I designed this pattern to


match my Intriguingly Posh
Wristwarmers. Both patterns
can be made out of one 100g
skein of aran weight yarn.

Needle size: 6.00mm

Notions: 3 buttons approx 1 inch diameter

Yarn: Posh Yarn Sylvia Aran (164m/180 yards per 100g)

Yarn Alternative: Rowan Pure Wool Aran (169m/185 yards per 100g)

Amount: 1 skein

Gauge: 4 stitches per inch and 7 rows per inch

Difficulty: Beginner

Stitches:

K = knit,

K2tog = knit two stitches together

Kfb = knit into front and back of stitch to make two stitches

Numbers in brackets at the end of each row indicate how many stitches you
should end up with in that row

Cast on 21

Row 1 – 3: Knit

Row 4: k3 BO1 K6 BO1 K6 BO1 K3

Row 5: k3 CO1 K6 CO1 K6 CO1 K3

Continue to knit until you run out of wool.

Bind off loosely and then sew three buttons on the end of the scarf.

My neckwarmer ended up 5.5 inches wide by 18.5 inches long.
