• The higher your self efficacy,
the more confidence you have
in your ability to succeed in a
task.

• People not only gain


understanding through
reflection, they evaluate and
alter their own thinking

• People with high self efficacy try


harder to master the challenge.
Increase Your Self Efficacy
• Enactive Mastery : Gaining relevant experience with task
or job. If you have been able to perform the job successfully
in the past, then you are more confident that you’ll be able
to do it in the future.

• Vicarious Modeling : Become more confident because you


see someone else doing the task
Increase Your Self Efficacy
• Verbal Persuasion: Becoming more confident because
someone convinces you that you have the skills necessary to
be successful.

• Arousal: Becoming more confident because one is “Psyched


up” and performs better.
Conclusion
• When you are actively working towards a

goal, there are no failures; there are only

degrees of success. Choose to be a


leader. Take the initiative. When you are
faced with a problem or a difficult
decision, don’t waste endless hours
agonizing over the solution. If you
analyze the situation objectively, you will
always find an answer. Don’t focus on
the problem; focus on the solution. Then
get into action.
