DRAMA REFLECTION

WEEK 12 - 24.12.2010 Gökhan ALTUNTAŞ – 301

This week, we have continued to perform our demos. Every week, I learn
a different technique and try to enrich my knowledge and experience as
prospective teacher of english. For me, this week was so fruitful to grasp some
important tips on the stage. I have practised the aims of the lesson and pacing
and presenting.

I liked my friend’s warm – up and wrap – up activities. Both of them

worked well. In addition to this, we have learnt that how time management plays
a crutial role in terms of teaching. Teacher has to know what to do during a
lesson. He should be consistent about the duration. If the time of the activity is stated
druing the giving instruction, it will help both teachher and student. Again, the
importance of using colorful cartoons in drama has been appreciated. On the
other hand, conducting the topic with some intresting events was a clever idea.
The board was organized well. I have also like smooth transtions, instructions
and critical thinking questions. I wholeheartedly believe that all of these
important steps will help us in drama and facilitate learning process in great
extent.

Last but not least, I really appreciated each of my friend’s performances.I

think I can use practically all of the drama activities that my friends did.
