Argusville City Council Regular Meeting

January 3, 2011

Meeting called to order at 7:30 with the following in attendance: Darren Wetzel, David Becker, Bekki Hill,
Scott Leverson, Randy Teberg, Russ Stoltman, Brandon Oye, Deputy Chris Fix, and Mary Howatt.

Minutes & financial report approved.

Motion Leverson – Second Becker to pay bills as follows: Cass County Electric $525.60, Forum $54, US
Treasury $160.65, Cass County Treasurer $1127.19, Ohnstad Twichell $44, Qwest $56.21, Cass County
Electric $493.74, Cass Rural Water $1934.07, City of Fargo $14, Metro Disposal $1805.40, ND Rural Water
Systems $75, US Treasury $206.55. Motion carried.

Members updated Council on ongoing projects. Discussion was held regarding blizzard clean up.
A conditional permit request for the I-29 project has been forwarded to the Zoning Board.

A reimbursement request from Grant Johnson regarding a water leak on his property was denied as the city was
not liable for the leak.

Oye provided update on County Road 4, water line, and dike recertification. FEMA will be sharing preliminary
flood rate maps via video conference with Moore and local agencies.

Motion Teberg – Second Hill to set park board state aid portion at 15%. Motion carried.

Motion Becker – Second Hill to approve a gaming permit for St. William’s Men’s Club for March 25. Motion
carried.

Deputy Fix reported on recent activities. Council discussed emergency shelter options.

Next Meeting will be February 7, 2011.
