Storytelling:

Presentation Self Assessment

Our story was clear and the message was easily understood
X
by our audience.

Our story included the parts traditionally used in myths

and fables (fiction, explanation of why something is the way it X
is, ends with a moral/message, etc.).

I spoke clearly so my audience could hear all that I said.  X

I was able to ‘become my character’ through the use of

 X
drama techniques (facial expression, gestures, voice, etc).

I brought in or made props and costumes to make our

 X
story more believable.

I worked collaboratively with my group to make and

 X
present an entertaining story.

I think I did really well at...

I did pretty well at cooperating with my group. We brought in lots of props

so it was fun to do. I think our story was very entertaining and our story
was believeable.

Next time I need to think about...

I need to think about talking slower and face my audience. I need to be a
little bit more effiecent. Otherwise, I think this was great fun!
I noticed that all of you in your group were serious about creating an entertaining story that included
all the parts of a fable. It showed excellent collaboration.

Your group worked well together to perform your story in a unique way, which included much
humour.

You did your best, Izzy, to speak loudly, clearly and with expression. Your props were great! I like
that you chose ‘facing the audience’ as something to work on.

Overall, a very thoughtful and entertaining performance by you and your group. Nice work!
