    Dear Michael,

    We refer to your letter with reff No. ME/LLP/1005073/0088/G1495573v1 dated 28th


    February 2007 on the above mentioned subject, and we are truly sorry for not
    answering the said letter soon enough. First of all, we want to apologize for the
    inconvenience that has been dealt by the Trustee of the Ekman Trust. It is not our
    intention to disappoint them.

    As you may know, at this current time PT. Kiani Kertas is on a process of
    restructuring. We are still evaluating and making progress plans to deliver our
    obligation to Ekman Trust. We assure you that we are still in the process to deliver
    our outstanding for 2006 of 12,720.09 and 12.000 tonnes and the delivery plan for
    2007 for 18.000 tonnes to Ekman Trust as soon as we have the opportunity.
