 SCAMS!!
 This world is full of nice genuine
people.
 However, there unfortunately are
people that want to take advantage of
you.
 This is called a Scam!!
 This unit we will learn about different
scams and how to avoid them…
 The Lottery
 Everyone wants to
win the lottery.
 However, it is very
very rare to
actually do this…
 Unfortunately, it is
a common scam.
 Lottery Scam via Phone
 This scam often consists of a phone call from someone
proclaiming “You have already won!!”
 They then ask you for your personal info (SS#, Bank info, Credit
Card #).

 Do NOT give this to anyone….

 Lottery Scam via Mail
 You may also get a letter saying you’ve
already won!!
 It will look very authentic.
 Do not fill in this reply with your personal
info…
