OK!

magazine

By Becca
Dawson
a front cover of OK! magazine
Primary or Secondary?
I researched it using primary research.
So I found out about the magazine myself and
asked people at home.
Who is the target audience?
Age: I think OK is aimed at about 20+ year olds because there's a lot of writing in
it and it speaks about money and some teenagers don’t have that money to
spend but some working 20+ people might; however I think it doesn’t matter
if people younger than 20 read it.

Gender: I think its defiantly aimed at females because it’s got about fashion and
celebrity gossip in it. I don’t think most men would be interested.

Culture: I think its mainly aimed at white women because there's more white
models in it but it doesn’t matter who reads it.

Social Class: I think its aimed at middle class because its quite high priced
magazine and I think middle class people would be the ones to buy it more
than working class.
Social Class?
Social class is what class of people would buy
this particular product. OK! Magazine is quite
an expensive magazine so the social class is
quite high. I think the social class is
comfortably off. So people who don’t have to
worry to much about spending money.
People who buy OK! Magazine mainly live in houses
around this size. Some will be smaller though.
Comfortably off family
I think this family are comfortably off because
they look well fed and well dressed. The
children are happy and they all look very calm
and relaxed.
About that family?
That family look secure so their jobs might be
good. The man might be a property developer,
a businessman or a high up teacher. The lady,
as they have children, she might work part
time or not work. And look after the children
instead. The man might bring in the majority
of the money.
Thank you for listening :)
