The ad which i watched has a kind of negative impact on me. The ad shows competition between
CocaCola and Pepsi. A little boy uses the Cocacola cans as a stool to reach to the Pepsi can. I
think these kind of ads does not a brand like pepsi. I mean its such a popular brand and its still
doing such kind of acts to de-value the other brand. These things should not be done. If you want
to represent your brand represent it solely. Why present it with other brand showing that people
love Pepsi more than CocaCola. This totally is a crap thing and shouldn’t be done. In this way
you are degrading your own brand indirectly.
Brand: Sunsilk
Sunsilk adopted innovative strategies and developed new marketing campaigns to attract women
to the brand and to gain popularity among the youth population. Sunsilk nowadays in its recent
ads is promoting its products by associating its brand name with some of the most top hair
stylists. The hairstylists give tips on how to maintain your hair healthy and strong and also giving
tips on how to take good care of your hair. They tell about different kind of hairs and show the
right kind of product for that hair. This really is a fantastic way of promoting their brand name.
Its in a way that noone wants to see his hair look bad and while watching the ads also getting
some free tips from the hairstylists is just great. This really is a great idea from Sunsilk.
