Language Arts Math

READING
Due to the short week and my scheduled
absence on Tuesday (3-5 Team Planning
Day), we will not work out of our text this week.
Instead, students will focus on test taking
strategies and review previously taught skills.
Please encourage your child to use the
extra time he/she will have in the evenings
to work on www.tickettoread.com or
http://www.fcatexplorer.com.
Chapter 4 (continued)
On Tuesday, students will review 4-digit
subtraction with regrouping. On
Wednesday, they will complete the
Chapter 4 Study Guide. Students will take
the Chapter 4 test on Friday. Please
encourage your child to review the skills
and strategies from this chapter using the
online resources available through the
text’s math site.
Next week, students will begin working on
Chapter 8. We will go back to complete
chapters 6-7 at a later date.
