    Pre-treatment and fabric requirements for printing, design details of printing. Repeats and its
    types. Style and methods of printing. Special printing processes.

    Printing Auxiliaries:
    Auxiliaries for printing with pigments and dyes, General characteristics of, classification, Rheology
    and selection criteria for thickeners.

    Pigment Printing:
    Pigment systems and preparations, different style of application, Fixation Mechanism.

    Dyestuff Printing:
    Printing system for Direct, Reactive and Vat dyes with various styles, Fixation Mechanism and
    Washing-off.

    Printing of Blended Materials:


    Dye selection and Printing Process for common Blends, Fixation Mechanism and Washingoff.
    Identification of printing faults (Mechanism and Process), and their remedies.

    Printing Machines:
