Location scouting for film

1. Drama studio/Ernest Bevin College- The drama studio in our college could be a good
location for our interrogation scene. We will have the opportunity to change the lighting
in the studio to our requirements and get various props and costumes needed for our
scene. There is more than enough space in the studio also, which means that we will be
able to do more will our scene. As it is a drama studio there will be a fair number of staff
and pupils that are interested in acting and are very talented at acting so we could also
have the opportunity of maybe having them act in our film. We also have a pupil in our
group which who is doing drama A-levels so he knows the teacher very well and will be
able to find out times when the studio will be free etc. The main benefit of the drama
studio is that it is in the college that we attend so we will be able to get there frequently
and easily.

2. Balham- Balham is a town of south London, England, and part of the London Borough of
Wandsworth. This town is minutes away from our college making it very short and easy to
get to. It is also the town where two of the people in our group live so that again makes it
very easy for us to film here. Also, as two of the people in our group live there this will
enable us to get better filming locations in the town. The second part of our opening
sequence consists of an outside scene in a residential area of sorts, so as we have people in
our group who are very familiar with the town and some people in the town, we may be
able to find a house/flat where we can do a little filming. The parts of the opening sequence
we will film hear is the mysterious murder outside a house/flat. Balham is a very colourful
and happy town so we could use this side and element of the town to give a little twist in
our opening sequence.
