Southern Railways, Chennai:

• Had a 5 day workshop on the working, maintenance and networking
off suburban trains for the city of Chennai.
PROJECTS
Automated Car Parking System Using Wireless Technologies:
• A Car parking system which uses the ZIGBEE and RFID technologies
to simplify the congested parking area around the city under a single
data base. A similar model was later planned to be made by the
Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority.
Hovercraft:
• Had built a vehicle which could travel both on land and water for a
premier competition called Shaastra held at IIT Madras
Real time objects detection of a vehicle using FPGA for secured areas:
• Designed a vehicle which could detect any object which moves in a
restricted area and take a picture of the same to mainly help the
defense operations
ACHIEVEMENTS
• Won the runners up prize in college basketball tournaments
• Won participation credits for various events in college symposiums
