 MISE EN SCENE 1

The mise en scene that we will be used in one of the scenes is a

vase shattering, this is because it creates tension and because it
contains a black rose which links with the romance of the two
vampires – however because the glass shatters, it demonstrates
the shattering of the relationship.
 MISE EN SCENE 2

Another mise en scene that will be used in our film will be cats
eyes. The cats eyes will be shown a number of times throughout
our filming.
This shows that Elizabeth (played by Natalie M) is being
followed.
 RISK ASSESSMENT

Shattering glass – In one of our scenes, a glass vase shatters to the

ground – this is a risk because it can cause injuries because of the
shattered glass that will be spread on the floor which is a high risk.

How we will prevent this?

We will use newspaper, dustpan and brush to clean up the
shattered glass as well as gloves and goggles.
Our media teacher (Mr Riley) will be supervising.
 LOCATION REPORT
We have decided that the
location of our filming will be set in
a classroom (sociology classroom)
which is in our school building – we
know this room is suitable for our
filming because it has the right
amount of lighting, which will make
easier to clean up spillages that

We are also going to be using the playground and the hall for are
filming as well. Under supervision, we know that our location will be
a safe to film in and it is we have done pictures so we can see where
we will be filming in the rooms/ playground and it will be safe
environment to film in.
