1. Authentically the C.S.S.D should be very clean, sanitized and disinfected.
2. Dress code should be provided for the in charge; technician’s and class IV employees.
3. Lack of class IV employees for sweeping, cleaning etc.
4. No proper safety measures are available for the staff such as
There are no fire alarms.
Hydraulics water sprinklers.
No insulation for the electrical wires of the equipments due to which there are
complains of shock and shock circuit.
5. No adequate ventilation and air flow in the department which leads to suffocation.
6. Ac in the department is not working.
7. The sterile area is totally unhygienic and shabby as well as there is a leakage in the roof
of the sterile area which leads to generation of fungus and unhygienic condition.
8. There are two big heavy fire burn steam autoclave machine with 500ltr capacity which
are totally unused causing their obsolescence.
9. There is leakage in pressure steam pipe and and the pipes are also rusted due to which
the functioning of auto clave equipments is hamper this is the reason why the
equipments are not used.
10. There are two medium sized steam fire burn machines with 200 capacities from which
only one machine is in use and the other one is not functioning properly, the working
machine is utilized only for the sterilization of instruments from the different wards
except OT.
11. There is no proper elimination and lighting system in the department.
12. Authentically the C.S.S.D should be very clean, sanitized, and disinfected, but in this case
it is unhygienic and non sterilized.
13. The doors of this department are having no locks.
14. Fumigation procedures are not performed authentically.
15. The floor tiles are crack causing inoculations of dust and bacteria’s which leads to spread
of infection, on the sterilized equipments.
