Spardha, a social entrepreneurship competition was introduced by Rural Managers' Association of XIMB (RMAX), during Xpres
an opportunity to explore life in the hinterlands of Orissa. Compete and collaborate with some of the best minds of the studen

Prior to the competition, a village is identified and profiled by the RMAX team with the help of its faculty advisor and an NGO.

The topic for Spardha this year is : 'CONSERVATION FOR GENERATION : towards a sustainable future'

Stage 1

In the first stage, interested teams will have to work on the topic given aboive and have to send in their entries. On the basis
be selected for the next stage.

Stage 2

In the second stage, selected teams will be asked to develop a business plan for a village on the same topic.

In this stage, the identified teams will be taken to the identified village. They will be given two days to explore the village and
survey/study that they see fit in the existing situation. Once the teams return to the XIMB campus, they have to make a brie
and experience in the village. The students are then given a day to come up with a business plan for the village. This is follow
business plans which will be judged by a panel comprising XIMB faculty and other invited judges.

The winning team will be declared on the basis of their performance in all stages including their field visit , and will be awarde
