    AGE OF MLI DESCRIPTIONS ESTIMATING THE AGE

    1. Age of viability - Infant can live separated from - OC at talus


    - 7th intra-uterine month mother if aborted
    2. Full term baby - OC at cuboid
    - 9th intra-uterine month - OC at upper end of tibia
    - OC at lower end of femur bcomes 5mm
    3. End of infancy period - Legal age of end of infancy period - Closure of ant. fontanelle (18 mnth)
    - Age of 2 y/o - Execution of condemned women is - Eruption of all milk teeth
    postponed if having a child below - OC at lower end of radius
    his age till weaning (> 2y/o)
    4. Admission to school - Eruption of 1st permanent molar
    - 6 y/o
    5. Age of discrimination - Below which child is not legally - Eruption of permanent central incisors
    - 7 y/o responsible as can’t discriminate - OC at lower end of radius = ⅔rd breadth
