• Tuhina- Talk to Bombay Coast about fundraisers

• Banquet- Lost 1200, board needs to pay $15 next week

• Banquet Pros and Cons:

o Pros:

 8PM and 9PM bus

 Pictures

 Good Music

 Good Food

o Cons:

 Stagger appetizers and dinner for 1st and 2nd busses next time

 Location determined too late

• On the Social Chairs to find one earlier- it’s their job

 Price determined too late

 Anonymous location next time?

 Bring more non-Sangam people

• Akul’s Opinions on Winter Banquet:

o Good: food, dancing, people, conflict mediation

o Bad: small venue

• Book the loft early for next year’s fall banquet

o Fall banquet on campus encourages more freshmen to come out

• Porter’s Pub Party

• Institutional History is important

• Spring Banquet is all new board’s responsibility

• Board in general:

o Read over your position’s responsibilities again

o Define a budget for every event and stick to it

o Put Sangam Constitution online

• Spring- Alumni Event possibly?

• Send out a survey to Sangam members in order to get their opinions:

o Possible questions:

 Does there need to be food?

 What events should we hold?

 Would you pay $30 for a good banquet?

 Would you invite non-Sangam friends

 Are off- campus or on-campus events preferred

 Would you rather have a dance party or banquet?

 Would you attend small, free events (i.e. movie night, game
night)?

• Open forum at Red Shoe room for Sangam members in the near future?

• Have all dance teams perform so that people can come out and watch

• V-Day Auction: Feb 9th

o 7PM- Private Auditions for an MC (Kavita will make a script from last
year’s culture show?)

o 8PM- V-Day Auction officially starts

• Publicity Chairs- in charge of Facebook related things

• Ski Trip- Possibly moved to February 26th weekend

o Leave Feb. 25th and come back Feb. 27th morning

• Robby- Put signups for dances on website

• Next Week’s meeting: Ski Trip and Culture Show
