Dear Parents,
Wow - on Monday 31st January the children will have been at school for 100 Days! We are
going to celebrate this milestone by having a day of activities.

Activities:
Individual classes:
Count collections from home of 100 something

Year 1:
 Blow up and play with 100 balloons
 Do 100 exercises
 100 Day photograph
 Goodie bags with 100 treats
 100 funny faces photos
 Make an edible necklace with 100 treats
 Hand and footprints – counting in fives to 100
 Make a 100 Day T-shirt
 Decorate 100 cupcakes
 Games like snakes and ladders that have 100 on them
 Puzzles with 100 pieces

You are welcome to join us throughout the day.

The program for 1AG is as follows. Please be aware this is a guide


only.

 8.30 – 9.30 – Year 1 Activities (shared area and


playground)
 9.30 – 9.50 – Recess
 9.50 – 10.00 – Snack

 10.00 – 10.45 – Library lesson


 10.45 – 11.30 – Activities in our room (1AG classroom)
 11.30 – 12.10 – Year 1 Activities (shared area)
 12.10 – 1.10 – Lunch

 1.10 – 2.30 – Music lesson


 1:50 – 2:30 - Year 1 Activities (shared area) or quiet time (we will probably need this
by now)!

Your child needs to bring the following:

1. A collection of 100 things to count. For example, 100 toothpicks, 100 grains of rice,
100 pencils, etc.
2. A plain white t-shirt to decorate (optional)
3. Wear clothes that have ‘hundreds’ of pictures on them. Pyjamas are acceptable.
