In fig (1), the transversal m intersects
line a and line b in two different points
C and D.Seg CD is called the intercept
formed by lines a and b on transversal
m.

Similarly, in fig (2) seg NP is the

intercept cut off by lines e and f on the
transversal k.

So students tell me the intercept in fig

SUMMARY:
So, today we have learnt how can we
check that the two different lines are
parallel to each other and lines
perpendicular to the same line are
parallel to each other.
