necessary to live out these ideals or we will not be successful. Many feel it is a priority to have a
high income in order to be happy, which is not true. Many families that live paycheck to
paycheck are happier than families with money. Another ideal is that you need to be the owner of
a big business or the CEO of some corporation to be successful. Also not true, many Wal-Mart
employees are happy with their jobs and life. There is no need to try and live out these ideals if
The creators of these ideals are the parent of generations past. They installed in their
children’s heads that they need an education to be successful. Then the children of those parents
told their children that, and it just had a domino effect from then. As the ideals went from
generation to generations some new ones came into play. These ideals are the qualities of the
modern day renaissance child they exist for the sole reason of creating the perfect child. And the
perfect child does not exist because no one is near perfect. So in reality no one can live up to all
of these ideals. Yes, many are possible and people do live them out but no one man or woman
As a result to trying to live out these ideals and never succeeding one may feel like a
failure. There fore giving them negative thoughts about themselves causing self-esteem issues.
Trying to live out these ideals does not mean that one is always going to develop self-esteem
issues or any kind of side effect. If one were to strive towards becoming a performing artist and
fell just short of Broadway, the positive could be that they were in some big time musicals. To
people who live by these ideals and think everyone should follow them, they can think of
