    Winter weather has arrived at Aguilon Golf Club, bringing colder temperatures that have kept player numbers down. In the individual stableford competition on January 19th, Chris Baker scored 35 points to take first place, while Steve Willingham and Pat Sayer came second and third respectively. Pat Sayer also got a two on the fourth hole. The following week on January 26th, a blustery cold day made scoring difficult, but Les Raufer finished first with 32 points, while Neil Bott and John Bridgen came second and third. Derrick Stephenson and Pat Sayer each got a two. Visitors are welcome to join the club on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays.

    AGUILON GOLF MEMBERS REPORT

    It had to happen sometime,winter has arrived! We have been spoiled


    by the fine weather with glorious sunshine, now we have gone in to
    the wardrobe for the thermals and jumpers,never mind spring is not
    far away.
    RESULTS
    Wednesday 19th January-Individual Stableford
    A cold cloudy day has kept the numbers down,but a fine gross 77 by
    the winner brightened the day
    1st Chris Baker 35pts, 2nd Steve Willingham 32pts, 3rd Pat Sayer
    31pts
    Twos: only one Pat Sayer at 4th
    Wednesday 26th January-Individual Stableford
    A cold,cloudy day with a blustery wind did not help the
    scoring,however on a positive note the rain held off!
    1st Les Raufer 32pts, 2nd Neil Bott 31pts,3rd John Bridgen 30pts on a
    card play off
    Twos: Derrick Stephenson 4th and Pat Sayer 8th
