Setting Things In Motion(STIM) is a non-political, independent, not-for-profit
organization run by youth. Our members are interested in leadership, global
issues and management.

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, sexual orientation,

creed, religion, national, ethnic or social origin.

The structure is once a month event based, wherein members get an

exposure to the work environment in social sectors such as NGO's and
economic sectors like corporates to gain a hands-on working experience.

Setting Things in Motion has launched a campaign called the Yellow Ribbon Project in
association with the Traffic Police, Ahmedabad. Under the project STIM will create an
awareness of traffic rules amongst the youth mainly and also among the general public
via various activities. The Project is supposed to be a year long campaign beginning 1st
Jan,2011. We would welcome the full support of the Traffic Police of Ahmedabad and
later plan to implement across various cities.
The following are the main issues that we look to spread awareness about :

3 Traffic Rules and guidelines for Traffic Safety

3 Importance of Helmets , seat-belts and safety gear
3 Overspeeding and speed limits
3 Underage driving and license
3 PuC and Pollution Control

The following activities are proposed for bringing the required impact :

3 Yellow bands on vehicles/riders ( Sign of Caution )

3 Yellow ribbon distribution via human chains
3 Awareness Seminars
3 Awareness drives in educational institutes
3 Documentaries , street shows
3 Posters and advertising materials

The whole project would be managed by STIM volunteers with the help of traffic police
officials from time to time.
