Reset and Clear your Friends
THEORY
‘The game of Palace isa filing down process that moves in
four stages. A player may not play their facedown’ cards
nti all cards in the ‘pickup pile” have been used, all cards
in their“*hand played and all face up" cards played.
CARDS
Cards are numbered 1-14, (1 sof east value (14) is of
ighest value.
‘There are (2) different types of Wild cards, they are “Reset”
and”Clear’ The wild cards may be played at any time
during your turn.
When a ‘Resets played the pile Remains and the player
goes again.
When a"Clear"is played the pile is Cleared away and the
player goes again,
SETUP
Shuffle and deal (3) cards face down to each player. These
cards may NOT be looked at until the end of the game.
Next, deal (6) cards to each player, this is your‘hand
A player must take their (3) best cards from their hand and
place them face up on their (3) cards facing down.
Important: (3) best cards"is the simple term used to
illustrate how to set up the game. Remember, a player can
at anytime place cards of the same value on the face up
cards.
All four of the same value cards played is equal to a"Clear”
The player with the worst starting hand based on the“face
up" cards starts.
Palace is a game of quick thinking and quick moves,
play all your cards first and you're the winner, but be
ready to shuffle up and deal again.

1.) A player must tie or beat the card their opponent(s)

2) Ifa player can NOT tie or beat their opponent(s) card
they must pick up all cards in the ‘put down’ pile,
3,)A player must maintain a minimum of (3) cards in their
ihand at all times. A player may NOT pick up cards from the
“pickup* pile until they have two cards and require the
third,
4,)A player may play multiple cards of the same value ina
single turn
5,)A player may play a single card of equal or greater value
‘on multiple game cards of the same value OR multiple
cards on a single card, so long as they are of equal or
greater value.
6, All (4) of the same value card played at once, so long as
the value of those cards ties or beats the opponents last
card played clears the ‘put down’ pile
Important: Ifthree cards of the same value are played, the
next player may place the 4th of the same value in the set
and clear the “put down’ pile.
7.) Aplayer may at any time during the game choose to
place cards of the same value down on their face up" cards.

8) Aplayer, on their turn may choose to pick up the "put
down’ pile even if they have the cards necessary to play on.
