    Ahmad Khan submitted an application for maternity leave in November as his wife was pregnant and due to give birth in January.     SUB : Request for Holidays Encashment

    R/Sir,

    It is hereby to inform you that my wife is Pregnant her expected date of delivery is 03
    January 2011 hence I have submitted my Maternity leave application on dated 25 th of
    November 2010 but after 03 weeks on dated 15th December 2010 I have received the verbal
    information from Mr, Faisal (Control Room) that my maternity leave has been disapproved.

    At the time of prior leave booking I have discussed my leave plan with control room they
    suggest me to call Human resources department hence I called to human resources
    department where they said that I am not eligible to apply for maternity Leaves and suggest
    me to apply holiday Leaves because I have less length of service with advance security UK
    limited whereas my 12 to 13 paid holidays are in remaining.

    After this rejection I discussed my leave matter with my Manager Mr, Haworth Jhon he said
    that you are eligible to apply for Leave because you have a genuine need of Maternity
    leaves so just fill the application form and send it to the Human resources department i will
    recommend and discuss with Human resources department hence I have submitted my
    Maternity leave application on dated 25th November 2010 and I was waiting in written leave
    approval but I received verbal information from Mr, Faisal that you cannot avail your leaves
    your manager Mr, Haworth Jhon has been changed now you have to discuss with your new
    manager.

    As per above details I did not get approval of Maternity or Holiday Leaves while my wife is
    pregnant hence I am requesting for encashment of my remaining 12 to 13 Holidays.

    I n the light of above situation and genuine circumstances please grant my 12 OR 13 day Holidays
    encashment because I have an urgent need of money to support and extra care of my new born
    baby. I am sure you will consider my Holiday Leave Encashment as soon as possible.
