2011 IUSA Elections Timeline

Informational Call-Out Friday, February 4 - 5:00PM IMU Solarium


Meeting:
Applications Due: Friday, February 11 - 5:00PM for EXECUTIVES
Friday, February 11 - 5:00PM for CONGRESS
Turn in applications to the IUSA Office, 3rd floor IMU- Room 387,
Student Activities Tower
Applications available: IUSA Office and on the IUSA Website

Periodic Financial Statements: Financial statements, consisting of an itemized list of all campaign
expenditures, including receipts and appropriate documentation for
each campaign expenditure listed, must be submitted to the IUSA
Office no later than 4:00 PM every other Friday after applications are
due: February 11, February 25 Due: Feb 11, 25

All-Candidate Meetings: Tuesday, February 15 - 7:00PM for EXECUTIVES

Attendance is MANDATORY unless prior notice is given to the
Elections Commission and a proxy will be present.

Review of Ballot: Each candidate will have the opportunity to review the official ballot to
approve their name at the debate on Monday, February 21
Debate: Monday, February 21 - 6:30-7:30PM

Candidate Withdrawal: Request to withdraw must be sent no later than 4:00pm, February 22

Proof of residency and Due to the IUSA Office by 5:00PM, Thursday, Februrary 17

Election: 10:00AM Tuesday, March 1 through 10:00PM Wednesday, March 2

Elections Announced: Once the IUSA Supreme Court has certified the election, the results
will be posted outside the IUSA office and all tickets notified via e-
mail
Final Financial Statement: Cumulative final statement is due 5:00pm, March 3

Complaints: A complaint may be submitted to the IUSA Elections Commission in


the IUSA Office at any time during the election until 5:00pm on
Thursday, March 3. Complaints may be heard at various points before
the election and after. Hearings will be held on Fridays as needed.
