    Collective

    We know what the rest of our life will be like

    Our future, already determined by the Council

    We will work,

    And work

    Until we are old

    Then to live in the Home of the Useless until our body relinquishes the rest of the life we may
    have left

    We will live each day only for the will of our brothers and the Council

    Our whole life will be spent toiling other men, and not speaking a word because of the fear that
    our thoughts are not the same as our brothers

    But we wonder why our head is so heavy if we think so little

    Our thoughts are dissolute, we know

    Still, our minds can’t stop thinking these evil things

    We crave something no other man has wanted before

    For it is a sin against all men

    We crave…

    The unknown.
