Problem: Measuring the enthalpy of a reaction.

Materials: ♥ 0.1 M Reagent X


♥ 0.1 M Reagent Y
♥ Foam Cup

Procedure: 1.) Pour 10.0 mL of 0.1 M reagent X and Y into the foam cup.
2.) Just mix the two solutions and observe the change in
temperature.
3.) Record your data.
4.) Repeat the procedures 1 – 2, but this time pour 50.0 mL of 0.1
M reagent X and Y into the foam cup.
5.) Record the data.
