OPENING SEQUENCE
(Moodbroad)
Toy story
Narrative

This is an example of linear editing and often

Cartoons will use this method so that it is
Basic and easy to follow for kids.

This is an example of non-linear editing,

Films such these would use this because it
Is showing how the events had unfolded and
What gave them the motive to film this.

Shea lebouf in Transformers

Mise-en-scene

This is England scene which shows were

the working class live. This movie also
depicts how vast majority of the people
in Britain live and how the shops here
look like.

The break up, this in comparison the ideology of

the prefect house given by Hollywood movies,
This movie also portrays how the upper class
Would live as a result of there expensive clothes
And furniture.
Sound/Soundtrack

This is the soundtrack to Twilight New Moon, synergy was

used because the movie company (i.e. warner bros paying
‘death cab for cutie’ in order for them to use their music on
there film) because different types of music are used in the
different situations of a film, for example if someone has died
then nostalgic music will be used to go with the scene.

This is Saving Private Ryan and it uses diagetic sound so

It can make it seem like they are actually in war, this
Will make it more realistic because we can what the people
On the battle field can hear.

Impact
 From my research, I have found out about the
comparisons between Hollywood style movies
and independent audiences. I have also shown
how independent movie companies aim there
films at niche audiences and how Hollywood
movies would rather aim it at mainstream
audiences as a result of its features and appeal.
