• The change in the logo colour symbolises Godrej’s
new corporate identity and the redecoration of its

• With its splash of colours, the new logo retains the
original font for reasons of continuity and empathy.

Achievements
• In 1897, Godrej Introduced the first lock with lever technology
in India.

• In 1920, Godrej made soap using vegetable oil, which was a


huge hit with the vegetarian community in India.

• In 1955, Godrej produced India's first indigenous typewriter.

•In 1989, Godrej became the first company to introduce PUF


( Polyurethane Foam)

• Godrej has a philanthropic arm that has built
schools, dispensaries and a residential
complex for their employees.

Product Range
• As the master godrej brand was repositioned
they have changed a lot of not just the
advertising but the products itself.
• Godrej has redesigned all the products, they
are re-staging all the products- the soaps, the
talcs, the spray deodorants, a new campaign
has been developed!
Brand Ambassadors
• Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL), aiming to
expand and double sales of its flagship brand Cinthol,
has recently roped in actor Hrithik Roshan as brand
ambassador.
• Cinthol is well-established in the mind of the Indian
consumer. In retail outlets, Cinthol is second only to
Lux.
• Rani Mukerjee endorses Good Night.
• Godrej has roped in Bollywood actress Preity Zinta
as brand ambassador for the appliances division.
• The confectionary major, Godrej Hershey Limited,
with a turnover of Rs.400 crore, has chosen MS
Dhoni as Brand Ambassador.
• The small screen actress Sakshi Tanwar has been
selected to be the brand ambassador of the product
range Godrej.
