Several requests are being received from various Heads of Institutions and individuals seeking extension of time for crediting the arrears of DA to the PF Account for the period from 01.01.2006 onwards. Government have examined the requests and are pleased to order that the time limit for crediting the arrears of DA sanctioned from 01.01.2006,01.07.2006, 01.01.2007,01.07.2007,01.01.2008, 01.07.2008, 01.01.2009 and 01.07.2009 to the PF Account of employees will be extended for 6 months. The DA arrears can be claimed in the salary bill up to 31% July 2011 and credited to PF Account without fail. Further chance for crediting the arrears of Dearness Allowance sanctioned upto 01.07.2007 will not be allowed. To All controlling officers will adhere to this time schedule invariably.
