There is a Republican assault on workers.
I'll stand up for workers’ rights.
• I will vote to extend unemployment benefits for our
neighbors who can't find jobs.
• I'll vote to preserve workers' rights to organize.
• I'll fight for a progressive tax system and help stop the
increases in property taxes--the most unfair tax.
• When a person has a job, a lot of problems go away.
That's why promoting job creation will be my number
one priority:
- I will support Governor Dayton’s new bonding bill for
basic infrastructure improvements to our communi-
ties and schools.
- I'll work to diversify our economy and concentrate
on renewable energy. I'll support Polymet Mining
and Essar Steel and new innovations in mining and
natural resources.
I was born and raised in Northern Minnesota, and graduated
from Hibbing High School. After college, I was fortunate to find
a job here at home. You and I want this same opportunity for
the next generation. That's why I'll focus on job creation.
