Interview Questions:

1. What are the qualifications to be in your position?

Actually, I was just promoted as a Chief Nurse from being a supervisor


because our chief nurse before didn’t came back. I know that the actual
qualifications for my position can be found at your books. So as for my qualifications
to be in this position is I have my master’s degree, the Master of Arts in Nursing,
Major in Nursing Administration and I also have my ten years of hospital experience,
which the actual qualified number of experience is at least 5 years.

2. What is your job description?

The job description of my position is not actually the job that I usually do.
Aside from the job description that can be found at your book, I do more of
administrative job. Because our hospital is just new and the administrators don’t
know yet that much on administrative job so I help in doing so. Like in the processing
of the Phil Health and Department of Health qualification, which I was one who
applied for it at the respective establishments.

3. What are the problems that you have encountered being in your position?

There are a lot of problems that I encountered in being at my position.


One is managing my staff which most of them has no hospital experiences or no
dependable hospital experiences.

4. How were you able to solve the problems? What were the solutions to your
problems?

We had some enhancement trainings, seminars and updates for the staff
nurses to solve the problem.
