The Method of Eight Questions
Reason:-The central pawn structure is the skeleton of the position.A plan is oftenrelated to how the
pawns are played.
Reason:-Here it is important to identify the elements that speak for you and against you.Then you
try to take some action against each other and make a conclusion about who stands better.
Reason:-If your opponent has a strong piece and you have a weak one then you do not mind a
exchange.
Reason:-It is obvious that your opponent’s weakest spot should be attacked,but it is also important
that you play where you have most pieces to use.
Reason:-If I were allowed to make several moves in a row, which would they be?
Reason:- If your opponent has an obvious plan or idea at his disposal,it is often good to hinder it.
Reason:- The overall plan is mainly the result of intusion ,but achievement of the aims demand
concrete calculations.
Reason:-Identify the moves worth taking a closer look at.These are the candidate moves.analyse
them more deeply and select the one you think is the best.
