INTRODUCTION Buenos Aires is the capital and largest city of Argentina, and the second-largest metropolitan area in South America, after Sao Paulo. It is located on the western shore of the estuary of the Río de la Plata, on the southeastern coast of the South American continent. Greater Buenos Aires conurbation, which also includes several Buenos Aires Province districts, constitutes the third-largest conurbation in Latin America, with a population of around 13 million. Real name: Ciudad autonoma de Buenos Aires. TOURISM Buenos Aires is a big city in tourism, is the second most desirbale city to visit after Florence, Italy. You can go to many parts in Buenos Aires, it has a lot of sports events like soccer matches at te famous (boca stadium), it has tango tours, and cultural tours when you can learn about eva peron and the museums. María Eva Duarte de Perón ; 7 May 1919 – 26 July 1952) was the second wife of President Juan Perón (1895–1974) and served as the First Lady of Argentina from 1946 until her death in 1952. She is often referred to as simply Eva Perón, or by the affectionate Spanish language diminutive Evita. WHY YOU HAVE TO GO TO BUENOS AIRES!! Buenos Aires is so accessible not only because of the integrated transport system like the metro, train and buses, but also because tour operators have caught onto the tourist desire to see the city in different mediums of transport. It has a lot of parks like the: Parque 3 de febrero, botanical garden, plaza san martin, recoleta cementery, buenos aires japanese garden, plaza de mayo, plaza san martin and the buenos aires zoo. IMPORTANT STREETS Avenida Alvear: It passes through the upscale recoelta area, and it has a lot of five star hotels. Caminito: Its made by the artist benito quinquinela and it’s so colorful. Avenida Corriente: It is so tied to the tango and the porteño culture. Avenida de mayo: It is compared with the streets of Madrid, Barcelona.
