    Global warming is caused by humans increasing greenhouse gases through industrialization and burning fossil fuels, which traps heat in the atmosphere. Over the past few centuries, increased burning of coal, oil, natural gas, and gasoline has released gases like carbon dioxide that are building up in the atmosphere and acting like a thickening greenhouse gas blanket that traps the sun's heat. This causes the planet to warm up in a phenomenon known as the greenhouse effect and global warming. Effects of global warming include increased temperatures, rising sea levels, habitat damage and animal migration, and more frequent extreme weather events like floods and droughts. Proposed solutions involve reducing fossil fuel consumption, avoiding plastic burning, conserving energy, increasing afforestation, and controlling population growth

    What is global warming?
    •Global Warming is the theory that we as humans
    are increasing greenhouse gases through
    industrialization causing more gases and
    increasing the amount of sunlight that gets caught
    and heats the Earth.
    Over the past few centuries,
    people have been burning
    more amounts of fuels such
    as coal, oil, natural gas and
    gasoline. The gases such as
    carbondioxide, formed by the
    burning, are building up in the
    atmosphere and act like
    greenhouse gases. These
    greenhouse gases which
    cover the atmosphere like a
    thickening blanket, trap the
    sun’s heat and causing the
    planet to warm up.
    The Greenhouse Effect traps heat inside
    the Earth’s atmosphere. This causes our
    climate increasing in temperature. This is
    known as Global Warming.
    KEY WORDS
    Greenhouse gases :- the thick layer of gases that catches
    the sun’s rays and
    heats the earth. Eg:- carbondioxide,methane.

    Industrialization :- to adapt a country or group to industrial


    methods of production and manufacturing.

    Gasolene :- U.S.petroleum

    Fuel :- a source which provides energy

    Greenhouse Effect
    The Sun’s energy
    passes through the
    car’s windshield.

    This energy (heat)


    is trapped inside
    the car and cannot
    pass back through
    the windshield,
    causing the inside
    of the car to warm
    up.
