Definition of Terms

Early Marriage= the marrying of two teenagers at an early age

Teenagers= aging from 13-17 years of age

Early pregnancy= getting pregnant at an early age

Title: Early Marriage

Problems:

1. What are the effects of early marriage to the teenagers?


2. What are the causes of an early marriage?
3. How can the teenagers provides the needs of their family?

Hypothesis:

1. The effects of early marriage is their studies will be disrupted, there will be financial
problem and conflict among the teenagers.
2. The cause of early marriage are pregnancy, poverty and the urge to marry.
3. They can provide the needs of their family b managing a small business like selling
some avon products by giving service like laundry and by gardening.

Objective of the study:

1. To find out the effects of early marriage of teenagers


2. To find out the causes of early marriage
3. To find out on how the teenagers provide the needs of their family

Significance of the study;

1. Teenagers so that they will know how to say no to marriage.


2. Parents so that they will understand the situation of their child
3. Community so that they know how to deal with situations like this.

Scope and Delimitation

This research work is limited only to the study of the cause and effect of early marriage
in the country. Data was taken through reading books, magazines, internet and try conducting
some interviews to some teenagers who already experienced early marriage

Introduction

Early marriage is now one of the problems of the society. Most of teenagers aging from
13-17 years old are involved in early marriage. In the discussion talks about the effects and the
cause of early marriage.

Discussion
In our discussion there are many compelling causes and effects why there are early
marriages among teenager; One cause is the lack of parental guidance. Most likely, when their
child is away from them they think that their child is doing good. Second, curiosity about
marriage. The teenager may question “What is the feeling of having a partner in life? When this
question enters to the ids, they will look for girlfriends or boyfriends and lastly early pregnancy
when teenage girls got pregnant their parents will confront them to be married to the father of
the child and some effects of early marriage are the following:

1. The will experience early difficulties in living together.


2. It will destroy their future.
3. The cannot support well their family.
4. They will not continue their studies.

Explanation to the Diagram/ Survey Result

The diagram shows that some of the teenagers are satisfied now that they have already
their own family and also, some parents did not understand their situation and now that they
have their own family, it is now their priority in life to support and love their family.

Recommendation

Teenagers should have a control of their feelings. They should have friends who can be
trusted and who will lead them to a better life. Parents should guide them and should visit
them when they are far away most especially the teenagers should know the limitation when
they have boyfriend or girlfriend.

Conclusion

After the research study, researchers concludes this early marriage is not a game , it is a
lifetime commitment to live one whom you are married
