dalam dunia Arab berlaku dalam beberapa siri ‘wave of
revolt’:
- WW1  Great Arab Revolt, British and French support
against Ottoman Turkey
 WW2  Arab revolt against Britain, France & Italy
(colonialism) – mereka ini –’political invisible’
 Modern day  walaupun telah merdeka neo-colonial
power masih menguasasi ekonomi dan politik timur
tengah. (they serve NC interest as vassal).

 Kleptocracy, alternatively cleptocracy or kleptarchy,from 
Ancient Greek:κλέπτης (thief) and κράτος(rule), is a term
applied to a government subject to control fraud that takes
advantage of governmental corruption to extend the personal
wealth and political power of government officials and the 
ruling class(collectively, kleptocrats), via the embezzlement
 of state funds at the expense of the wider population,
sometimes without even the pretense of honest service. The
term means "rule by thieves"

 “ It is paramount to understand that the Arab dictators and
tyrants serve the interests of organized capital. This is their
primary function. They are elements of the global system

outwardly appearing democratic political system. In other

FAKTOR PERUBAHAN
 1848 vs/= 2011 (Europe Revolution 1948 – 2011 middle
east people upraising)

 1848 saw the same events unfold in Europe under the


use of the printing press and new means of
communication. 2011 has seen it occur via the internet
and social media. In the context of a zero-sum game or
conflict, political awakenings by mainstream societies
are a historic process tied to the ruling classes
movements towards greater control.

POWER FUELS DEMOCRATIC REFORM

 Naguib Mahfouz’s novel, Children of Gebelawi, was


written in 1959 but the Nobel Prize-winning Cairo
author perceptively expressed the psychology of the
young now changing the Arab world: “Whenever
someone is depressed, suffering or humiliated, he points
to the mansion at the top of the alley at the end opening
out to the desert, and says sadly, ‘That is our ancestor’s
house, we are all his children, and we have a right to his
property. Why are we starving? What have we done?’ ”
 For decades it seemed as though those questions would
go unheard and unanswered across the Arab world.
Many other once-poor regions leapt ahead, building
richer and more democratic societies. 
FAKTOR PERUBAHAN
It has to be asked again: what lessons can be learned
from 1848?
” The conditions in 1848 Europe were the same as in the
Arab World. Poverty, unemployment, exploitation,
and lack of freedom were rampant. Mainstream
society was in a state of social anomie. The same fate as
that of the Paris Commune should not reoccur in Egypt
or any part of the Arab World. The revolutions should be
real and bring about radical socio-economic change.”
54. Orang-orang kafir itu membuat tipu daya, dan Allah

 Mengambil iktibar dari FALSAFAH SEAJARAH
peringatan Allah SWT terhadap peristiwa umat terdahulu
yang diungkapkan oleh Allah dalam Al-Quran
 Biasanya kita sedar dari kesilapan pada saat akhir.

59. Lalu orang-orang yang zalim mengganti perintah dengan (mengerjakan) yang
tidak diperintahkan kepada mereka. sebab itu kami timpakan atas orang-orang
yang zalim itu dari langit, Karena mereka berbuat fasik.
(Al-Baqarah: 59)

“Allah menjanjikan orang yang beriman dan beramal salih dari
kalangan kamu, bahawa Ia akan menjadikan mereka khalifah yang
memegang kuasa di bumi, sebagaimana Ia menjadikan orang yang
sebelum mereka; dan Ia akan menguatkan agama mereka (Islam)
yang telah diredhai-Nya untuk mereka; dan Ia juga akan
menggantikan bagi mereka keamanan setelah mereka mengalami
ketakutan dari ancaman musuh. Mereka terus beribadat kepada-Ku
dengan tidak mempersekutukan sesuatu yang lain dengan-Ku. Dan
(ingatlah) sesiapa yang kufur ingkar sesudah itu, maka mereka
itulah orang yang derhaka” Surah an-Nur:55

 Beliau menyatakan bahawa umat Islam sama ada


generasi muda atau dewasa, tidak mungkin dapat
survive sebagai muslim secara individu atau
sebahagian dari sebuah tamadun gemilang dan umat
nabi Muhammad s.a.w. sekiranya tidak dapat
menangani cabaran yang dihadapkan oleh dunia
moden kepada mereka. Mereka perlu memahami
dunia moden kini dengan mendalam dan secara
bijak, dan menangani perubahan dan cabaran tanpa
pengaruh emosi, tetapi di atas asas ilmu yang sahih
dan benar tentang dunia moden ini bersandarkan
tradisi keilmuan Islam secara menyeluruh.
“Kemurnian dan keberhasilan Misi Dakwah ini
bertitik tolak dari soal keikhlasan,
keberkatan dan inayah Ilahi. Almarhum
Abul Hassan Ali Nadwi,
menyatakan kegagalan usaha
dakwah pada pertengahan abad ke-
14 H adalah kerana hilangnya
kEIKHLASAN dan lenyapnya
MAHABBAH, walaupun pada ketika
itu umat mencapai kemajuan tetapi
kedudukannya merosot.
Almarhum Said Ramadhan : tokoh daie yang
prihatin tentang kecuaian aspek ini dalam para aktivis
masyarakat, beliau menegaskan:
“ Our problem is one of spirituality. If man comes
to speak in the Muslim world, about political
strategies and of great geo-strategic plans, my
first question to him would be whether he
performed the dawn prayer in its time”.

 Beliau menyatakan bahawa umat Islam sama ada
generasi muda atau dewasa, tidak mungkin dapat

menangani cabaran yang dihadapkan oleh dunia

 Bergerak dalam kerangka dan suasana yang sedia ada
berdasarkan kepada nilai keislaman
 Mewujudkan gerakan mahasiswa yang teratur serta
berorganisasi melalui jalinan/ rangkaian yang terancang.
STRATEGI & TINDAKAN
Mewujudkan budaya (culture) -> “Knowledge Based Society
Par Excellence”
Memiliki keupayaan daya saring -> Filtering abilities
Menjadikan UNIVERSITI sebagai asas mengasah kemahiran
berikut:
1. - Kemahiran komuniasi
2. - Kemahiran Interpersonel
3. - Kemahiran Mengurus masa
4. - Kemahiran Mesyuarat & Diskusi
5. - Kemahiran Mengurus dan Merancang
Mengukuhkan jaringan dengan pelbagai kelompok
Wajar kita merenung nukilan Buya atau Bapak
Hamka yang cukup popular iaitu;
 “ Tegak rumah kerana sendi,
