A2 Practical Evaluation

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge
forms and conventions of real media products?

to focus on the drama genre of it. I
tried to use the conventions of a
teaser trailer, by using quick pace

down some scenes, to exaggerate
the drama of the trailer.
Costume
Costume was a very important element for
my trailer, as my original idea was to set it
in the 80’s. But I changed this idea, due to
issues with being able to film. But I still kept
the idea of having an 80’s theme with the
clothing. This is why the main protagonist is
wearing Fila jackets, and Adidas Originals
trainers, as these are type of clothing that
football casuals wore in the 80’s, and these
sorts of clothing are now coming back into
fashion in the modern day.

As can be seen from the

images, there are links
between the clothing from
The Firm, and my own
trailer.
