Question 4: How did you use media technologies in the

construction, research, planning and evaluation stages?

In this question I will look at the technologies I used throughout my work.

These included:

•The internet; blogger, google, Dafont, slideshare, flickr, youtube etc.

•We did green screen training for our development, using lighting, i.e key,
fill and back lighting, then edited this on final ut express.
•Cannon video camera, stills camera, tripod etc were used for our main
and ancillary tasks as well as for our planning.
•Final cut express and photoshop were used in our main and ancillaries.

used this when trying out green screen and to
edit our music video, as well as for our
audience feedback.
This is the tool bar from final cut, these are the main tools I
used.
•This is the select tool to highlight clips and select them.
•This razor tool is used to cut clips down and get rid of the
bits of a clip you don’t need.
•Zoom into the clips.
•Crop tool, to crop clips.

This is the time line, we placed all our individual

clips here and placed our music track, here we could
adjust and edit the clips.
Here are the brower, were your clips are first placed, the viewer and canvas.
 This is photoshop we used this mainly for our ancillary
Photoshop tasks.
•Particularly to colour grade our photographs using
adjustments as shown here.
•And adding a coloured layer behind the photo here.

I used Dafont to find the texts used on

my ancillary tasks.

I have used Slideshare to

upload my power points for
evaluation to my blog.
 I created an account on flickr
to annote my images for
question two as you can see
in this print screen I have
uploaded my ancillary tasks.

We uploaded our music video to youtube

so we could then embed it onto our blog
and people could look at it on line to get
our audience feedback.
