MINUTES ON REGIONAL CAMPUS CHOIR MEETING HELD AT KNUST ON

12TH FEBRUARY 2011.

Opening prayer was said by Bro Richard at 11:07am followed by choruses with Sister
Vera at 11:40am. Welcoming address by Bro Danny and Bro Ernest 11:59am and
12:07noon respectively. Bro Fiifi exhorted the choir on holiness and this was followed by
a quality time of worship.

The text for the message were taken from 1Kings 19:13-18, Isaiah 62:11, and Romans
11:14. The summary of the exhortation was that, “we have no excuse if we fail to go to
the end of the journey with God”.

The choir learned a song for the congress. The title of the song is ‘I have returned’.
Details on the amount spent on sister Goodness’ wedding were made known to the choir
by the regional organizer. He also expressed appreciation from Mr and Mrs Adonteng to
the campus choir.

A section of questions and suggestions were put to the National Leader. On whether or
not the campus choir would join the adult choir for the strategic congress, the national
leader responded that he was not very sure.
On whether there would be a workshop for the campus choristers the Leader answered no
but that there would be some preparatory meetings for the National Campus Congress.

A short message with the title “keeping your source of freshness” was given by Brother
Ernest. The gist of it was that, to keep our source of freshness we have to abide in Christ,
and detach ourselves from people who do not help us spiritually.
The closing prayer was said by the National Leader.
Brother Fiifi sponsored refreshment after the message. The meeting closed around
2:45pm.
