5. Lens types
6. Zone focusing
7. Hand-coloring
8. Print Finishing
9. Advanced Adobe Photoshop/ Photo ethics
10. Bleaching
11. Toning

Semester Two:

1. Advanced Adobe Photoshop continued


2. Portfolio Development
3. Pushing/ Pulling Film
4. Advanced Studio Lighting/ Still Life
5. Use of filters
6. Experimental Techniques
7. *Infrared Photography
8. Into to Color: Slides

Materials:
E= Essential materials. These are low cost items that will be required each day.
O= Optional materials. These are useful, but NOT required items.

E: Sharp pencil with eraser (approx. $0.50)


E: 8x10 inch or11x14 inch book bound sketchbook (approx. $10.00)
E: Extra fine point black pen (approx. $0.50)

Grading System
Creative Photography

The total number of points for each grading period will vary (depending on
the number of assignments.)

The point values for each assignment are:

Homework: 5

Class Participation: 5

Contact Sheet: 10

Written Classwork: 10

Quizzes: 10-20

Sketchbook Check (2 per grading period): 25

Tests: 30-50

Bellwork: 45 (1 point per day)

Shooting/ Studio Assignments (criteria below): 50


• Technical quality/ neatness
• Creativity
• Composition
• Fulfills assignment
• Critique participation

Written Critiques: 50

Lab/ Studio Responsibilities: 50

Unprepared for Class: -2

Late Camera: -5 per day

 Late Work: Advanced Students may not turn in late Work! Shooting
assignments are due at the beginning of class on the day of the critique.
Sketchbooks are due by 2:45 on the due date.
