Through a Soldier’s Eyes is a
collaborative project between
Rowan Public Library and
Waterworks Visual Arts Center to
honor and illustrate the Vietnam
experiences of Rowan County
servicemen and women.
photographs and oral histories will
be collected at Rowan Public
Library, culminating in a
photography exhibit at Waterworks
in August 2011.

Rowan Public Library Arts Center invites community members to
participate by sharing memories, photographs,
Headquarters diaries, drawings and other artifacts from their
