 What is RedTacton?
 RedTacton is a new Human Area Networking
technology.

 Uses the surface of the human body as a

safe, high speed network transmission path.

 Developed by NTT from Japan.

 Transmission
General :
 The chips which will be embedded in various
devices contain transmitter and receiver built
to send and accept data in digital format
 All these devices need the separate voltages
for their working.

RedTacton :
 A transmission path is formed at the moment a
part of the human body comes in contact with
a RedTacton TRANCEIVER.
 WORKING PRINCIPLE
 RedTacton relies upon the principle that the
optical properties of an electro-optic crystal
can vary according to the changes of a weak
electric field.

 The key component of the transceiver is an

electric-field sensor implemented with an
electro optic crystal and laser light.

DEMERITS
There is a limit on the conductor size for propagation
Which has some difficulty in installing the devices.
 CONCLUSION
 We conclude that, when we compare
RedTacton with other technology present
today it can give a better performance over
others.

 And we can say that to connect the network

with in short distances RedTacton is best.

 In this technology there is no problem of

hackers as our body is itself a media.
