Reflection 1

Our first course was pretty enjoyable. Your techniques created a relaxed
atmosphere in class . Ice breaking,warm up sections made me relieved
although I was a little bit confused and tense at the beginning of the
lesson. Motivation in the lessons is so essential for students not to get
bored easily..What I learnt are the acquisition of communicative
competence in a second language and why it is so important.If we want to
teach a foreign language successfully,we should know the answers of the
questions such as why a student fails to learn a second language.
Recently,I have not written something in English. I am forcing my neurons
to remember what I have learnt in this course. I suppose I need to focus
more on writing. I didn’t have difficulty in figuring out anything. I believe
I will be careful about teaching process because I hope I know the
factors that affets the failings of the learners. When I teach young
learners,first of all I eliminate the phychological barriers by creating
relaxing,enjoyable atmosprehe.If learners can overcome psychical
barriers,they think that learning new language is not so hard. Moreover,
there is a link between native and foreign language learning ;therefore, I
can brush up their language skills by speaking,using body language and
teaching words firstly just like the way we learnt in our mother tongue.
