We have an opening for the following position available at Sky Lease Cargo.

MD11 FIRST OFFICER

Reports to: DIRECTOR OF FLIGHT STANDARDS & CHIEF PILOT
Hours: Full Time
JOB SUMMARY:
Shall serve as Second in Command (SIC) on Sky Lease flights requiring two pilot crewmembers
and should be prepared to assume the duties of the Pilot in Command (PIC) should the PIC
become incapacitated. First Officers shall be directly responsible to the Captain assigned to the
flight on which they serve.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Reports directly to the Captain and ascertain what duties or functions the Captain wishes
to delegate
• Monitors the loading process to ensure cargo equipment is airworthy, cargo properly
secured, and cargo equipment is restrained.
• Prepares and reviews weight and balance paperwork when Load Plan arrives.
• Determines the MTOGW when considering: Runway performance, Climb performance,
Route limitations and Landing weight considerations.
• Requests and copies the ATC clearance. Verifying flight plan routes as necessary
• Sets up navigational systems as per the Captain's briefing.
• Carries out any duties or functions delegated by the Captain.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum of 3000 hours
• Possess and hold a valid passport.
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Hold a multi-engine ATP
• Hold a current First Class Medical Certificate.
• Ability and eagerness to learn new technologies and apply this knowledge to new
situations.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
