Flood in Pakistan
In July 2010, Pakistan survived a severe flood. This flood has been the harshest
since 1929. Within one month, the flood caused seventeen million people to leave their
homes, and left million with no food. Total losses reached $43 billion, and the necssary
aid has not been received, because the news about the flood did not spread quickly. In
2011 Pakistan will be short in food, because some areas are still covered in water which
will delay the harvest season/farming.
