    Indigenous microorganisms (IMOs) are microbes that naturally occur in the environment. This study examined the effect of IMOs on the growth and yield of tomatoes. A group of students conducted an experiment where they applied different mixtures of IMOs to tomato plants and measured effects on plant height, number of leaves, and fruit production. They found that applying certain IMO formulations improved plant growth and increased tomato yields compared to control plants without IMOs.
