•Behavior is a function of an individual’s
expectation about the value of an outcome ( do
I want the outcome) or self-efficacy ( Can I
achieve the outcome)
•If the clients believe that an outcome is
desired and attainable, they more likely to
change their behavior to achieve that goal

1. In Coincidental association, outcomes
cally are proceed by numerous event,
and the client selects the wrong event
as predictor of an outcome

negative experiences provokes negative
feeling for future experiences
